The Writers Dilemma - An AVPA Sony Student Film Project

My Musical Resume:
Education: Guitar and Piano Lessons, School Orchestra, Intro/Advanced Music Technology Classes, Self taught in Logic, Soundtrap, and Garage band, and further expanded on my guitar and piano abilities taught by myself.
Experience: Recorded in and helped set up the Culver City High School Recording Studio, TA’d for the Adv. Music Tech class at Culver High, wrote the soundtrack for the short film ‘The Writers Dilemma’, gave feedback and directly helped producers on projects. During the latter half of my 2024 school year I had the opportunity to do an audio engineer job shadowing at the highly regarded Volume Studios in Los Angeles.
Where You Can Find My Future Releases:
I have been making music since 2021, which is around the time my school started doing in-person learning again. I mainly started out in producing, making small, short beats. The songs didn’t sound or feel like they were being true to myself, I suppose I was still figuring out myself. However as time went on I started to develop an almost personal connection to making music, so I started implementing my own thoughts and feelings into writings, which eventually turned into full fledged songs that I poured hours of work and passion into. As of 2022 I felt comfortable to start releasing music onto Soundcloud since I had just started figuring out what sound and feel I wanted my music to have. Now, I have officially created an Apple Music and Spotify page titled Writings From Codex, which is where all my main future releases will go, smaller scale projects will still be released on Soundcloud here and there.
